Patient Service Coordinator – Orthopedics

• Greet and register patients
• Answer phone calls and take messages
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
• Maintain the provider's schedule
• Assist clinical staff with outgoing calls to patients, pharmacies, or other providers as needed
• Create a positive, inviting tone for patients

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience in a customer service or clerical setting
• Associates degree (preferred)
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, third party billing and referral procedures (preferred)
• Experience with EPIC EMS (preferred)
• 3 years' experience in a clerical or office function (preferred)
• 1 year experience in a medical office setting (preferred)

Demonstrates strong customer service skills and proficiency in managing patient interactions, scheduling, and clerical tasks within a medical office environment. Familiarity with medical terminology and third-party billing processes enhances operational efficiency.
