Plans, evaluates & implements regular, special & modified diets to ensure compliance with state & federal regulations, treatment plans & accreditation standards. Completes nutrition assessments of clients (reviews medical charts, interviews staff and patients regarding preferences, allergies, and digestion issues). Maintains dietary and nutrition records, reports, and progress notes, including patient charting, census sheets, and treatment plans. Plans & conducts in-service training programs related to nutrition for clients & staff.

Attends meetings such as treatment team meetings and internal facility committees.

08:00 - 17:00, flexible hours, up to 30 hours per week, on-site. Remote:
No, on-site at Toledo, OH. Environment may involve exposure to unpredictable resident actions.

• Education/Licenses:
  Current licensure as dietitian issued by Ohio Board of Dietetics per Section 4759.06 of Revised Code.
• If employed at Ohio Veterans' Home, must have 1 year supervisory experience in dietetic service of a healthcare institution and participate annually in continuing dietetic education.
• TB test and drug screen required within 48 hours of start date.
• Submission must include resume, cover letter, Ohio licensure, and CPR certification.
