Associate Director Total Rewards Compensation & Retirement

The University of Toledo is hiring an Associate Director Total Rewards Compensation & Retirement. This role leads the Total Rewards Team by managing compensation, classification, and leave administration, developing policies, ensuring legal compliance, and collaborating with customers to devise strategies that attract and retain talent while improving processes and equity across the university.

• Lead and oversee the Total Rewards Team, including compensation and leave administration.
• Administer daily compensation and classification functions along with policy and procedure development.
• Supervise day-to-day leave plan administration activities.
• Ensure total reward programs comply with all legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create and execute talent attraction and retention strategies.
• Participate in process redesign to enhance efficiencies, maintain equity, and boost satisfaction university-wide.
• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and at least five years of HR compensation experience.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience; three years preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and analytical/statistical tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills are essential.
