IT Project Manager, IT Consultant

We are seeking a high‑momentum Enterprise Brand Project Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our Brand Council during a critical brand rollout. Partnering closely with our Change Management team, you will develop and maintain the comprehensive project plan, RACI, and documentation architecture required for a seamless global activation. This role is not just about tracking tasks; it is about controlling the flow, monitoring decision latency, resolving bottlenecks, and protecting our creative and strategic teams from churn and conflicting directions.
You will be the "one source of truth" for the enterprise, ensuring that every asset and action item aligns with our overarching change‑management strategy and brand priorities.
MUST be onsite 4x week in Toledo, OH office.
Responsibilities Daily (Execution & Flow Control)Daily Focus: momentum, clarity, risk surfacing
- Track and follow up on workstream action items.
- Monitor decision latency (what's waiting, who's blocking, what's unclear) to resolve issues before they stall progress.
- Update the master activation plan as inputs change.
- Check for dependency risks across work streams and log issues.
- Conduct quick alignment follow-ups with council members and stakeholders (Teams, 1:1s) to prevent rework and to identify new opportunities and considerations for activations.
- Protect teams from churn by flagging late changes, duplicative work, or conflicting direction.
- Ensure work aligns to agreed priorities and scope.
- Keep documentation and project management tools/platform current – one source of truth for tasks, action items, project status.
- Manage and update project folders with current documents and resources – one source of truth for assets and resources.
Weekly Focus: alignment, transparency, and course correction
- Facilitate/support Brand Council meetings ensuring action items are clear, assigned, and outcomes agreed upon at the close of each meeting.
- Publish weekly summaries reporting on:
- Status of action items
- Decisions made
- Concerns with the speed of decision making (taking too long, bottlenecks, etc.)
- Readiness for upcoming milestones and launches.
- Flag risks, unresolved tasks and escalations the brand council should address along with level of urgency.
- Review capacity and workloads – identify resource needs.
- Flag tradeoffs required to maintain priority focus.
- Identify scope creep and trends (recurring blockers, slow approvals, misalignment).
- Refresh or restructure RACI or escalation paths if issues or trends are identified that stall progress.
- Recommend adjustments to timelines, scope, or governance.
- Meet with Change Management partner regularly to align with Change Management plan and approaches to ensure overall rebrand success.
- Professional
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in project management or content strategy, specifically within a fast‑paced corporate or agency environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Loop, Teams, Excel, and advanced enterprise systems like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Workfront.
- Certification (Preferred): PMP certification or equivalent professional project management training is highly desirable.
