• Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goal through drive management activities such as on‑site recruitment, presentations to sponsoring organizations, managing online appointment schedules, data entry, sign‑up tables, and recruitment meeting preparations.
• Provide oversight and record keeping in Hemasphere and online scheduling system (OLS) to ensure proper management of blood drives and deliver tracking and statistical data on sponsor group performance.
• Support blood drive coordinators with organizational and operational tasks to achieve collection operation and annual goals.
• Schedule and implement education programs for sponsor contacts, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer tele recruiters within assigned groups to meet collection objectives and comply with relevant regulations, procedures and directives.
• Utilize tools, technology and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity.

Individual contributor working under close supervision; use technical knowledge to solve routine problems.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to support program implementation preferred.
• Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively required.
• Responsible for providing own transportation for business purposes.
• Ability to work on a team.
• Travel may be required to sites throughout the Red Cross organization.

Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
