Global Information Services Internship
Description:
Through a Global Information Systems (GIS) internship at OC, you will gain hands-on experience in the Information Systems (IS) function and contribute directly to the success of the global enterprise. It may include performing analysis, design, technology application, and release testing/deployment activities associated with the implementation of IS products and services. Our intern opportunities provide a dynamic learning opportunity with roles available in areas such as IS Security, Technology Infrastructure, ERP, Project Management, Analytics/AI, Digital Manufacturing, and Digital/Web development.
Within those roles interns will collaborate across the different time zones, regions and cultures where OC operates. You will have the opportunity to participate in:
- Business process design
- Collection and satisfaction of business requirements for IS products and services
- Mapping and/or configuration of business software to align with processes and requirements
- Development of system specifications for software customization, data conversions and services interfaces
- Development of testing plans, test data and standard reporting; actual system testing
- End user training and second level systems support
- Evaluation, justification and acquisition of hardware and software components
- Operation and support of production, test and training environments
- Performance monitoring and tuning of production, test, and training environments
- Establishing and monitoring service level agreements as well as managing vendor and partner relationships

Selection Criteria:
