University of Toledo is hiring a Technology Support Administrator. This role supports the design, installation, and maintenance of workstations, peripherals, and network services for faculty, staff, and students. The administrator manages Active Directory, deploys software images, and troubleshoots hardware and instructional technology across campus.
Highlights- Support and maintain Local Area Network infrastructure and network services.
- Install, upgrade, and support Windows operating systems and industry-standard software.
- Administer Active Directory and use system management tools like SCCM.
- Design and maintain software images for faculty, staff, and lab computers.
- Provide support and training for instructional technology like Smartboards and Cisco Telepresence.
- Hire, recruit, and manage student support staff.
- Consult on hardware and software purchases and prepare quotes.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for network and server support.
- 2+ years of desktop support experience in Microsoft and Apple environments.
- Experience with Windows Server administration, desktop encryption, and remote systems management tools.
