The Laser Operator supports and is under the direction of the Laser Supervisor to produce good, conforming laser cut products, perform various duties to ensure the laser is running properly, inspect product, perform routine preventative maintenance, record data, move materials to/from other locations, use a crane to load raw tubing periodically at the cell, and perform general housekeeping in and around work areas.
This is a full-time position based in Toledo, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.
- Monday-Thursday 3:30pm – 1:30am
- Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends & some holidays)

- Start and/or operate laser cells, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
- Match and compare production parts with approved 1st piece for visual part defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces, and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
- Complete simple to intermediate mechanical tasks associated with set‑up, breakdown, coil changes (e.g., turning a wrench, securing coil arms, cleaning up oil, or pushing a broom).
- Package finished materials in the proper container and label according to customer requirements.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen).
- Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).
- Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Report to work on time to support production startup.
- Possess good physical stamina and coordination.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull objects that are up to 50 pounds.
- Work as a team, good communication skills, basic math skills, physical dexterity.
