Job Description Box Printer – 1st Shift – Toledo, Ohio

Join Great Lakes Box Company and help produce the custom boxes local pizzerias and restaurants rely on. As a Box Printer, you’ll work with a small, assembly-style team to print and prepare boxes with accuracy and care. Your role keeps our community’s food businesses stocked and ready to serve.

• Load/unload raw materials (with or without a forklift) and move them into storage or staging.
• Prepare materials for press use and set up printing presses with ink and plates.
• Monitor the quality of finished boxes and alert the team to any issues.
• Reload the shrink tunnel, maintain conveyors, and palletize finished goods for delivery.
• Apply labels to bundles, ensuring accuracy between the label and the product.
• Handle cleaning tasks: trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and machine upkeep.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and wash/file printing plates.

• Must be 18+ years old
• Able to lift 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Ability to be trained and certified on heavy equipment and machinery
• Minor Maintenance experience
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Detail-oriented and accurate when reading, labeling, and handling inventory
• Dependable and safety-minded with a strong work ethic
• Excellent attendance and punctuality

• Monday - Friday
  • 5:00 AM start time until shift completion (8-10 hour days)
• Occasional Saturdays as business needs

• Starting Pay: $19.00 an hour
