We are immediately hiring a 2nd shift Supply Chain Ops Associate (Shipping & Receiving) in Toledo, OH for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

• Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid weekly
• Annual Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year based on experience
• Schedule: 2nd shift:
  Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm

• Follow-up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery performance to support production requirements
• Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers. Provide direction to suppliers regarding ship schedule requirements and containment plan when behind schedule, including decision making on timing for supplier ship schedules.
• Track critical parts and develop/execute containment plan to ensure no interruptions or downtime to manufacturing line, inclusive of decision making on mode and required delivery window to ensure continuity of production.
• Coordinate and/or arrange for alternative sources of material, requests for spot buys, if necessary (SPO and other GM Plants)
• Independent monitoring, set‑up, and cancellation of truck loads for material pick‑up, as necessary to support schedule variations.
• Review part buffers to determine that they cover build requirements, document and manage S and AV code exceptions, determine root‑cause and take appropriate action.
• MGO Data Maintenance:
  Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO, make appropriate adjustments, investigate and process record adjustment requests from the previous shift.

• High‑school diploma or GED (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• 1 year or more of administrative experience (Preferred)
• 1 year or more of relevant experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) (Intermediate, Preferred)
• Knowledge of transportation management (Intermediate, Preferred)
• Knowledge of material flow as it relates to manufacturing processes (Intermediate, Preferred)
