SUMMARY

The Utility role performs a variety of manual labor tasks, assists with material handling, and is responsible for accurately cutting metal materials to customer specifications using industrial saws.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Perform general labor and support tasks including material movement, shop cleanup, and equipment maintenance.

* Set up and operate industrial saws to cut metal stock (e.g., steel, aluminum) according to work orders and customer specifications.

* Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts, pallet jacks.

* Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.

* Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet daily workflow and delivery schedules.

* Load trucks as needed, including material handling, packing, wrapping, and routing of shipments.

* Must be able to apply mathematical concepts in order to: read a tape measure and calipers, comprehend decimals and fractions, perform other calculations.

* Must have working knowledge of using and understanding to use hand tools such as Allen wrench, screwdriver, and others to switch out saw blades.

* Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
