Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal‑management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative‑energy powertrains. Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off‑highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original‑equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

This Dana facility is located less than three miles from Fiat Chrysler’s current Toledo North Assembly Plant, where the current Jeep Wrangler is manufactured. The Dana plant will assemble front and rear axles for the next‑generation Jeep Wrangler, keeping the history of the location in Toledo alive. In addition to the proximity to FCA’s Toledo plant, Dana’s new site is optimally located to support automakers throughout the region.

Shift Hourly Pay

$18.00 plus shift premium

Responsibilities
  • Perform repetitive line operations to assemble axles.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality standards for our product.
  • Perform specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Leader.
  • Must have good teamwork skills.
  • Conduct themselves in a manner that exhibits the Dana Operating System (DOS), promoting continuous improvement and inclusion across the plant.
  • Ability to train and operate all work stations across the assembly line.
  • Follow all safety guidelines.
  • Advocate safety practices to the rest of the production staff.
  • Ensure that the supervisor/team leader is made aware of all machine/equipment malfunctions (i.e., electrical, mechanical) maintenance or safety issues. Report all incidents no matter how small.
  • Ensure that any equipment or tool malfunction is immediately reported.
  • Check finished product for problems or faults and isolate any damaged or inconsistent item immediately.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Production and/or manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Candidate must have a good work history.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and repeat assembly actions repetitively.
  • Must be able to pass drug test & pre‑employment verification.
