Shipping Supervisor 3rd Shift

Position Overview

Directs the activities of shipping personnel on assigned shift to separate and accurately ship product to destination. Requires competency for all on‑job activities that may affect product safety, legality and/or quality.

• Supervises, trains and directs shipping personnel.
• Ensures production orders are filled correctly and product is distributed according to schedule.
• Makes adjustments in personnel assignments to cover absenteeism and emergencies.
• Reviews documents for accuracy; assists in identifying and eliminating errors.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Ensures employee compliance with work rules.
• Recommends disciplinary action and participates in the disciplinary process as necessary.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.).
• Performs other duties deemed integral by management, including fulfillment of work schedules, attendance policies, and operating rules and procedures.

• Two (2) or more years of related experience.

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Completion of a formal management skills training program.

Salary Range – $65,000 - $75,000
