Toledo Tool & Die is adding Robotic Technicians at multiple skill levels to our team to support our continued growth.

Whether your experience is focused on robotic cell troubleshooting and maintenance or you have advanced experience with robot programming, calibration, weld schedules, and new-part launches, we want to talk with you.

Compensation and technician level are based on demonstrated technical skills, experience, and capabilities.

This is a full-time position based in Toledo, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.

Schedule: 1st shift

Hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This position works a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts
. The schedule follows a two-week rotation:

  • Week 1: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days
  • Week 2: Off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days

This rotation includes every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Please note: This role requires availability for 12-hour day shifts and adherence to a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.

* Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends & some holidays)*

WHAT TOLEDO TOOL & DIE CAN OFFER YOU:
  • $25.00-$35.00+ per hour based on demonstrated technical skill and experience
  • $1.50/hr shift premium for 2nd shift
  • $1.00/hr shift premium for 3rd shift

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Hands-on experience with robotic welding cells and/or automated manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with Fanuc robotic systems
    ; Panasonic and/or Nachi experience is beneficial
  • Ability to troubleshoot robotic cell faults and automated equipment issues
  • Experience using HMIs and robotic teach pendants
  • Knowledge of sensors, pneumatic systems, fixtures, and automated equipment
  • Experience with robotic MIG welding and/or resistance spot welding processes is preferred
  • Ability to use standard and metric hand tools
  • Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to identify problems, investigate root causes, and determine appropriate solutions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Welding teams
  • Strong work ethic and consistent attendance
  • Safety-minded with a willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Start, monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust robotic welding production lines
  • Diagnose robotic cell faults and investigate equipment issues
  • Perform robotic weld touchups, path adjustments, and program modifications based on skill level
  • Troubleshoot sensors, pneumatic systems, fixtures, and automated equipment
  • Perform robotic cell and tooling changeovers
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems and components
  • Inspect and evaluate robotic welding processes to ensure quality and production requirements are met
  • Make necessary equipment and process adjustments to maintain efficient operation
  • Perform robot calibration and mastering based on demonstrated skill level
  • Support robotic programming, I/O configuration, and new-part launches based on experience
  • Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of robotic systems and identify improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Welding, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve robotic cell issues
  • Document and communicate recurring equipment or process concerns
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
  • Exercise authority to stop production when unsafe equipment, parts, or conditions are identified
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager
