Sort Operators – Toledo Tool & Die
Come join the Toledo Tool & Die team! Located close to the Michigan/Ohio border, Toledo Tool & Die has diligently served both states since 1940. We have three facilities in Toledo and one in Pioneer, Ohio. We are adding Sort Operators to support our continued growth.
This is a full‑time position based in Toledo, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.
Hours- 1st shift – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- 2nd shift – Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends, and some holidays)
- $17.00 per hour
- $1.50 shift premium (2nd shift)

- Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment that do not meet specifications.
- Mark items with details such as grade or acceptance‑rejection status.
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications using instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
- Monitor production operations or equipment to ensure conformance to specifications, making necessary process or assembly adjustments.
- Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.
- Remove defects such as chips, burrs, or corroded or pitted surfaces.
- Stack or arrange tested products for further processing, shipping, or packaging.
- Weigh materials, products, containers, or samples to verify packaging weights or ingredient quantities.
- Maintain records of daily data, communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Oral Expression, Near Vision, Oral Comprehension, Perceptual Speed, Problem Sensitivity, Written Comprehension, Arm‑Hand Steadiness, Deductive Reasoning, Finger Dexterity, Manual Dexterity, Selective Attention.
- Identified candidates must work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays).
- Possess good physical stamina and coordination.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work as a team, good communication skills, basic math skills, physical dexterity.
