AssemblerStarting pay is $26.70 per hour.
What You’ll Get to DoThe Assembler is focused on the operation of multiple machines to fabricate and prepare metal for All Glass Entrance Systems. The operator tracks, locates, and records production on schedules provided by the Lead person, communicates production demands with operators on each shift, and reports to the Production Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who has an attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), a strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver.

- Must be able to read and understand sketches and interpret their meaning onto glass entrance systems
- Must be able to read schedules and understand production demands based on information schedules
- Program and operate CNC equipment to fabricate steel and aluminum
- Operate a saw to cut down stock material, use jigs to prep metal for further fabrication, and complete metal headers and glass door rails
- Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Complete daily worksheets and forms
- Basic computer familiarity
- Read and use a tape measure
- Read and perform mathematical calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines; ability to work overtime when required
- Prior work experience performed inside a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted
- Ability to stand and move around on your feet for 8‑10 hours per day on a concrete floor
- Able to withstand noise levels in the work environment that can be moderate to high
- Prior work history in a plant facility that is subject to the same climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
