1st Shift Mig Welder
This role focuses on production MIG welding of aluminum bulkheads in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will contribute directly to the fabrication of critical components by performing precise welds, preparing materials, and meeting established daily production expectations on the first shift.
Responsibilities- Perform MIG welding on aluminum bulkheads in a production environment.
- Meet production expectations of approximately 1.5 bulkheads per day during the training period and 3 bulkheads per day after training.
- Prepare bulkheads for final welding by operating grinders, brake presses, and shears.
- Read and interpret welding symbols to ensure accurate and consistent welds.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for fabrication and preparation work.
- Support overall fabrication processes, including basic blueprint and weld-related tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility safety standards.
- Work extended hours, including mandatory overtime, to meet production schedules and customer demand.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Toledo, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
