The Second Shift Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Toledo, OH, responsible for overseeing production activities and team performance during the second shift. This role includes managing daily workflow, assigning tasks, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. The supervisor will coach and support team members, coordinate training, and address performance or operational issues in a timely, professional manner.

Additional responsibilities include inspecting work for accuracy, completing shift reports, collaborating with maintenance and engineering on equipment issues, and communicating effectively with first and third shift leadership to maintain continuity. The role requires hands‑on involvement on the shop floor and consistent problem‑solving to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operations.

• Demonstrated experience supervising manufacturing or production teams in an industrial or metal fabrication environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety practices, and quality standards; familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 is beneficial.
• Proficient in organizing schedules, prioritizing work, and meeting production goals while maintaining high quality and safety levels.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and resolve conflicts across diverse teams.
• Ability to interpret work orders, drawings, and basic measurements; comfort with using production and reporting software systems.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including responding to equipment or process issues during the shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or supervisory training in manufacturing or operations is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to work second shift on-site in Toledo, OH, including occasional overtime as business needs require.
