Position Summary
Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Manufacturing Technician to support the production of precision coolant delivery components used in advanced machining and grinding applications.
This position is responsible for machining high-quality components utilizing Haas CNC lathes and machining centers while supporting prototype development, process improvements, and new product introductions. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment where craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement are valued.
This is not a traditional production machining position. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving manufacturing challenges, improving processes, and contributing ideas that help build a growing manufacturing company.

- Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes and vertical machining centers.
- Produce precision machined components to engineering specifications.
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and work holding preparation.
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain consistent quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Edit and optimize CNC programs.
- Assist with CAM programming and fixture development.
- Improve cycle times and manufacturing efficiency.
- Recommend tooling, fixturing, and process improvements.
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Machine prototype components for engineering evaluation.
- Work closely with engineering to improve manufacturability.
- Assist with product testing and design refinement.
- Provide manufacturing feedback during new product development.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor tooling inventory and recommend replacements.
- Assist with scheduling priorities and production planning.
- Support continuous improvement throughout the shop.
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience operating Haas CNC lathes and machining centers.
- Ability to perform complete machine setups independently.
- Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Proficiency using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators.
- Strong understanding of tooling, work holding, feeds, and speeds.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently.
- CNC programming experience using G-code, M-code and/or CAM software.
- Experience machining stainless steel, aluminum, brass, plastics, and engineering polymers.
- Prototype or low-volume manufacturing experience.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with Solid Works or CAD software.
- Experience in precision machining, tooling, grinding, or industrial manufacturing.
