Responsibilities
  • Monitor medication compliance and provide education for medication administration.
  • Set up and administer IV therapy, injections, and post‑operative care, monitoring chest pain, blood pressure, edema, and related indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with special diets, weight monitoring, and utilization of intravenous nutrition such as TPN and tube feeding.
  • Instruction on the use of inhalers, aerosol machines, oxygen, and proper care of all equipment.
  • Perform dressing changes, wound VAC therapy, assess wound healing, and identify signs of infection.
  • Inform patients about disease processes for chronic conditions such as COPD, CHF, diabetes, renal failure, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis, and more.
  • Provide pediatric care including PICC care, tracheostomy care, chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, naso‑/enterostomy feedings, medication administration, and education to parents/caregivers.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
  • Document all care activities accurately and in a timely manner according to agency policies.
Qualifications
  • One year of recent experience in home healthcare preferred.
  • Current STNA certification.
  • CPR certification.
  • TB test within the last year.
  • Ability to travel for in‑home patient visits.
  • Exceptional time‑management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
