Tier 3 - System Flex Team Traveler Registered Nurse (RN)

A Tier 3 - System Flex Team Traveler Registered Nurse (RN) is expected to be assigned to various sites throughout the Bon Secours Mercy Health System to provide patient care, promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process in accordance with the Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse. This includes analyzing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care following established patient care standards;

collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members as assigned. The RN is responsible to the System Flex Nurse Manager for the assigned Department. System Flex Team Registered Nurse is hired with the expectation that they must float to assigned sites within the Bon Secours Mercy Health System outside of their home market (no local placements).

Summary Of Primary Function

• System Flex Team Registered Nurse is hired with the expectation that they must float to assigned sites within the Bon Secours Mercy Health System outside of their home market.
• Conducts an individualized patient assessment, including psychosocial aspects, prioritizing data collection based on the patient’s immediate condition or needs within the facility’s policies, procedures, or protocols.
• Formulates and implements a plan of care for each patient, including interventions, evaluation of response, and documentation as appropriate to condition and age.
• Delivers care with appropriate age and cultural competence, individualized for the patient, reflecting collaboration with other healthcare team members and incorporating the professional practice model into care delivery.
• Demonstrates awareness of and supports departmental and operating unit goals through participation in continuous quality improvement and departmental activities as a patient advocate.
• Maintains in good standing current eNLC RN licensure and required certifications.
