RN Stroke Program Coordinator– St. Vincent Medical Center
The Telestroke program coordinator will be responsible for managing, developing and enhancing the Telestroke program and operations. The coordinator is a liaison for the program, building and fostering relationships with internal and external vendors, stakeholders, clinicians and partners to support the Telestroke service.
- Maintains strong relationships with all spoke sites through ongoing communication, education, issue resolution, and performance reporting.
- Manages the daily operations and resource allocation of the Telestroke program.
- Oversees the onboarding, credentialing, and training of new Telestroke physicians.
- In conjunction with Virtual Health, Operations, and Finance teams, develops, monitors, and manages Telestroke operating budgets.
- Partners with Informatics teams to develop and manage reports, collect and analyze data, to support quality, service, and operational performance metrics.
- Investigates inquiries and service concerns from spoke sites, in collaboration with the Telestroke Physician Leader.
- In conjunction with Information Technology and Virtual Health teams, oversees the technology infrastructure and operational support needs of the program and manages vendor and partner relationships.
- Identifies, evaluates, and implements opportunities for program improvement, service enhancement, and strategic growth.
- Manages physician engagement within the Telestroke program, including facilitating team meetings, gathering feedback, providing education, and monitoring completion of program requirements and compliance activities.
Licensing/Certification
- Current RN License in the state in which they are working or covered by compact (optional)
- BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association (optional)
Education
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field (optional)
Work Experience
- 3-5 years' experience in healthcare-related role (preferred)
- 2 years' experience in neuroscience, stroke, management or supervision (preferred)
Training
- EPIC experience (preferred)
