Wallick Communities is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for a 6:30am-3:00pm shift to support residents in our senior living community. In this role, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, vital sign monitoring, and documentation in accordance with physician orders and community policies. You'll collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care team members to support individualized care plans, promote safety, and enhance residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents including medication administration and treatments per physician orders
  • Monitor and document residents' conditions, vital signs, and responses to care
  • Support care plans and collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Assist with ADLs, safety, and comfort for senior living residents
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and teammates regarding care needs
  • Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and documentation
  • Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in all care activities
  • Participate in shift handoffs, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Report changes in resident status promptly and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Support a culture of dignity, compassion, and respect for all residents
