Location: City Streetscape Division (Forestry Department)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

We are seeking Seasonal Streetscape Crew Members to support the Streetscape Division of Forestry in enhancing and maintaining the beauty of our city. This role contributes directly to urban beautification efforts through the maintenance of seasonal floral displays and landscaped areas throughout the city.

Work locations include high-visibility and high-traffic areas such as right-of-ways, streets, medians, boulevards, traffic triangles, roundabouts, and parks.

Safety vests and hard hats are required and will be provided. Steel-toe or work boots are required but not provided.

• Raking and debris cleanup
• Weeding and litter pickup
• Assisting with installation of seasonal floral displays
• Planting and general plant care
• Cutting back plant material and deadheading
• Watering plants and landscaped areas
• Edging landscaped beds
• Line trimming and sweeping
• Loading and unloading plant materials
• Loading and unloading tools and equipment
• Assisting other crew members as needed

• Line trimmers
• Edgers
• Hedge shears
• Sprayers
• Water tanks and hoses
• Shovels and rakes
• Hand tools (trowels, pruners, hand weeders, litter pickers)

• Landscape maintenance or general plant knowledge is helpful but not required
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Customer service/public service mindset
• Pride in maintaining the appearance of the community
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
• Frequent bending, lifting, walking, and standing
• Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and plant materials
