Position: Standards & Control Plan (MQRG) Specialist

Overview

The Process Conformity/MQGR Specialist is responsible for ensuring alignment between plant operations and manufacturing operational standards. The MQGR Specialist conducts process audits to ensure all vehicle assembly plants conform with regional and corporate process standards. The MQGR Specialist reads across findings to all other assembly plants to ensure compliance across all plants. The MQGR Specialist is also responsible for ensuring that all internal auditors of the plant are calibrated to the same standards and for continuously updating the Process Audit Checklist.

Responsibilities
  • Align standard method with Plant quality audit execution
  • Identify training gaps of auditors
  • Organize specific on-the-job training sessions
  • Monitor audit issues action plans and cross-read across plants
  • Update the Process Audit checklist
  • Drive the development and deployment of MQGRs, MQAS, Corporate Process Guidelines, Process Standards and related requirements
  • Prioritize quality issues and communicate them to the appropriate individuals, while soliciting ongoing feedback
  • Drive corrective actions to eliminate non-conformances where applicable
  • Develop, maintain and communicate an audit schedule with plants to ensure process compliance
  • Utilize strong communication skills to support meetings at all levels of the company, including senior leadership
  • Establish internal and external partnerships and influence without direct authority
  • Demonstrate commitment to delivering a premier product and drive change to exceed expectations
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by translating ideas into actionable results
  • Work effectively in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience conducting audits in a manufacturing environment (e.g., familiarity with assembly, stamping, paint, MQGRs, MQAS, CPGs, CPA, Torque)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build solid partnerships internally and externally
  • Knowledge of problem solving and project management
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting the main Quality Key Indicators
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering/Technical degree
  • Experience in manufacturing or quality environments
  • Experience supervising hourly workers
  • Previous manufacturing and/or quality experience
  • Knowledge of Stellantis Customer Experience, preferably in Safety, Cost, Station Layout Quality and Environment
  • Knowledge of Plant Production Methods / Processes (BIW, Paint, GA, Plastics)
  • Knowledge of QMS Operational Standards and SPW Fundamentals
