Are you a Quality Control Manager or Quality Manager from a construction background looking for a high-impact role where you will take full ownership of the QMS and lead ISO 9001 activity on a major project? Do you want a role where your work directly improves processes, raises standards, and is visible to the project leadership team?
On offer is a key position on a long-term 15–18 month project where you will be the go-to person for quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement, with the scope to introduce new tools and embed best practice across the site.
You will be joining an established multi-trade industrial contractor supporting critical infrastructure projects across North America. As a result of continued demand and project delivery requirements, they are now looking to add an experienced quality lead to their project team.
In this role you will oversee the Quality Management System, manage ISO 9001 certification activity, coordinate internal/external audits, control documentation, and deliver training sessions to support site compliance and consistent execution.
This role would suit an experienced construction quality professional with ISO 9001 and auditing experience who wants ownership, autonomy, and the platform to drive measurable improvements on a high-profile build.
- Oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001
- Lead internal and external audits, including scheduling, execution, reporting, and close-out
- Control quality documentation, reporting, and quality metrics for project stakeholders
- Train and educate teams on QMS standards, procedures, and best practices
- On-site role supporting a long-term project, 10-hour days / 6 days per week
- Experience in construction quality management with strong ISO 9001 / QMS knowledge
- Audit experience (internal and/or external) with strong documentation and process discipline
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced project environment
