Job Overview
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow serves as an independent researcher or collaborator on a research program. This role may lead discrete components of a larger project under the general direction of the Principal Investigator and is responsible for experimental design, data interpretation, manuscript preparation, and dissemination of results.
Minimum Qualifications- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated research experience in a field relevant to the laboratory’s program.
- Strong record of productivity in experimental research, analysis, and scientific communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Design, plan, and execute research experiments aligned with laboratory objectives.
- Analyze, interpret, and present research data.
- Develop or refine methodologies, assays, and experimental workflows.
- Mentor trainees and assist with training when appropriate.
- Prepare abstracts, manuscripts, reports, and grant-related materials.
- Maintain detailed research documentation and ensure data integrity.
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, milestones, and collaboration.
- Participate in lab meetings, seminars, and scientific presentations.
