We are seeking outstanding scientists who study highly‑infectious pathogens, host‑pathogen interactions, and/or vaccine/therapeutic development and require biosafety level 3 (BSL3) and animal BSL3 (A‑BSL3) containment for these studies.

Top candidates will expand and complement the existing strengths of the microbiology and immunology faculty. Candidates are expected to contribute to the training and teaching of professional, postgraduate, and graduate learners, as well as provide institutional service. Candidates will join a highly‑collaborative, multidisciplinary research community, and will be provided with newly renovated laboratory space along with generous start‑up funds and competitive compensation packages.

The University and College have numerous Centers of Excellence and core facilities to support research efforts, including the Advanced Microscopy and Imaging Center, Flow Cytometry Core, Microbiome Consortium, Electron Microscopy Core, Histology Core, and other integrated core facilities.
