Pay

$12.00 to $15.00 per hour. Commission structure: earn up to 8% on transactions, average $1.14 per hour extra.

Entry‑level, full‑time sales associates at pawn store locations nationwide. Partner with store staff to ensure customer service on lending and retail sides. Greet, engage, and process sales, loans, and other transactions. Work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations).

• Greet and interact with all customers, develop rapport, and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise.
• Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partner with employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully complete assigned training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling) as required by law.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient with basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS and common office machines.

Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview.
