Salary and Commission
$12.00 to $15.00 per hour.
Commission structure: earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.22 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate works with the entire store staff to ensure excellent customer service across lending and retail operations. The role involves greeting customers, processing sales and loans, and providing a positive experience for a wide range of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms in FFL locations.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Handle sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle all cash and negotiable items per company policies.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicate to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
- Collaborate with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
- Successfully complete the assigned training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Knowledge of firearms and the ability to become firearms certified.
- Ability to assist customers outside the building and retrieve products from exterior storage as needed.
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Willingness to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office equipment.
Commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers may earn 2‑8% commission based on the gross profit of individual performance. Detailed commission information will be provided during the interview process.
