The role is for an entry‑level or specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, primarily covering primary care physicians.
Responsibilities- Effectively promote and educate physicians on the use of our pharmaceutical products through one‑on‑one meetings and group presentations, company‑approved promotional speaker programs, and other approved means.
- Work in the field each week, including call planning, customer follow‑up, preparing presentations, making appointments, and generating reports.
- Ensure high performance levels of call and field productivity; meet call‑plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to all defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations.
- Execute company‑approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers using company‑approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities/programs/initiatives identified by Sales Management.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co‑promotion alliance partners; appropriately manage and maintain all company equipment and promotional materials according to defined compliance guidelines.
- Ensure optimum territory sales strategy execution using annual territory business plan, regional business plan, and call activity reports.
- Accurately report and submit sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within deadlines defined by the Regional Sales Manager.
- The position is physician‑customer facing, reporting to a National Sales Manager.
- The representative maintains a territory responsible for several pharmaceutical products.
- The role has a lead position within primary care and specialty counterpart interactions.
- Work balances territory and regional responsibilities while maintaining solid sales performance.
- Exhibits strong competency skills and demonstrates sales influence within the territory and region.
- Some sales experience or sales ability.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry knowledge.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and ownership of situations.
- Problem‑solving ability; analytical; business acumen.
- Solid motivational and persuasion skills.
- Demonstrates team orientation.
- Proven record of sustained high sales performance and achievement.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
