Responsibilities- PRIMARY FUNCTION /
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As an Existing Installation (EI) Sales Account Manager at Schindler, cultivate relationships with customers to drive sales for elevator and escalator services, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, identify and pursue sales opportunities, manage existing and new customer accounts, and retain customers. Act as a liaison between the customer and Schindler to build strong, long-term relationships and leverage industry knowledge to achieve sales targets. - Customer Account Management:
Build and manage favorable client relationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew service agreements. Handle customer inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation. Meet regularly with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions. Manage accounts receivable for the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely payments. - Communication:
Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and achievement of sales objectives. - Collaboration:
Partner with the Field Superintendent and technicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customer experience from initiation through delivery. - Sales & Opportunity Identification:
Identify and pursue sales opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information. Qualify customer needs to secure profitable solutions leveraging company products and services. Introduce new technology and related services, clearly illustrating the value to customers. - Negotiation & Strategy:
Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while meeting customer requirements. Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with internal product strategies and market conditions with minimal supervision. - Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare estimates and proposals for customers. Maintain accurate customer records in line with company procedures and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Major: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of B2B sales experience in the elevator or related industry.
- Effective presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills with a proven sales track record.
- Ability to empathize, listen, and connect with people to form strong customer relationships.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Motivated, resilient, and customer-focused mindset aligned with Schindler’s values.
- Experience with SAP and a results-driven mindset to thrive in a competitive sales environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a mix of office and fieldwork, with flexibility for travel and managing customer interactions.
