The Business Development Center Representative is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Toledo, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer calls, responding to online inquiries, and scheduling sales and service appointments. The representative will follow up with prospects and existing customers, provide accurate information about vehicles, services, and promotions, and help drive showroom traffic and service business.
Daily tasks include maintaining detailed records in CRM systems, coordinating with sales and service teams, and ensuring a positive customer experience from initial contact through appointment. The role also involves meeting performance targets, adhering to dealership processes, and representing the Taylor Automotive Family brand with professionalism and courtesy.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to support an outstanding experience at every point of contact.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills to engage customers clearly, courteously, and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Sales‑related skills, including basic sales understanding and comfort with presenting offers and booking appointments.
- Ability to use CRM software and basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, contact management) effectively.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities, with attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment and meeting individual and team goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in automotive, call centre, or retail sales is preferred but not required.
