In-Home Design Consultant

As an In-Home Design Consultant for Marvin, you'll visit residential customers to understand their needs and design window and door solutions that elevate comfort, aesthetics, and performance. Drawing on your sales and construction knowledge, you'll provide tailored product recommendations, accurate measurements, and professional proposals, guiding homeowners from initial idea through purchase. You'll collaborate closely with installers, contractors, and Marvin teams to ensure a smooth project experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to assess needs and design window and door solutions
• Educate customers on Marvin products, options, and performance features
• Prepare accurate measurements, quotes, and proposals using company tools and standards
• Close sales while aligning solutions with design, budget, and project timelines
• Collaborate with installers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintain CRM records, manage follow-ups, and build a high-quality sales pipeline
• Represent Marvin's people-first, safety-focused culture in every customer interaction
• Participate in ongoing training to deepen product, design, and building science knowledge
