Job Description
  • Assist in preparing laboratory experiments, materials, and equipment prior to scheduled sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, and common laboratory spaces.
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments under supervision.
  • Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing supplies and chemical reagents safely.
  • Support faculty and students during experiments by providing materials and technical assistance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with departmental and institutional health and safety guidelines.
  • Dispose of chemical and biological waste properly, following appropriate environmental and safety procedures.
  • Record and report data or equipment malfunctions to the supervising instructor or laboratory manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
