Armed Security Officer – Full Time Mornings located in Toledo, OH. Serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Schedule:

Monday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM;
Tuesday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM;
Wednesday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM;
Thursday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM;
Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and assist with verifying credentials, visitor entry, and restricted area activity while following post orders and applicable armed post guidelines.
• Support branch and/or facility operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with local leadership, and assisting with security-related response during opening, closing, and high-traffic periods.

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
