Event Security Guard

Join BEST Crowd Management at Huntington Arena, supporting safe, enjoyable events in a professional, team oriented setting. As an Event Security Guard, you'll monitor entry points, check tickets and credentials, assist with bag and access screening, and enforce venue policies. You'll guide guests, answer questions, and help manage lines and crowd flow while following clear safety and incident reporting procedures. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow your security and event operations skills within the Garda World organization at large venues nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points, checking tickets, passes, and credentials
• Perform basic bag and access screening per venue procedures
• Enforce venue rules and safety policies professionally
• Guide guests, answer questions, and assist with directions and seating
• Support crowd flow, line management, and access to key areas
• Observe and report safety concerns, incidents, and suspicious activity
• Assist with emergency response support under supervisor direction
• Communicate effectively via radio and with event staff and supervisors
• Follow BEST Crowd Management and venue protocols and documentation requirements
