Electrician – Low-Voltage & New Store Construction
This role focuses on installing and commissioning electrical and low-voltage systems for new store construction projects. You will run and terminate cabling, set up POS systems, security cameras, access control, networking equipment, and install kitchen and beverage appliances that require electrical or low-voltage connections. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, confident use of power and hand tools, and the ability to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16".
Responsibilities- Install electrical systems for new store builds, including branch circuits, lighting, panels, and equipment connections.
- Install and commission kitchen appliances such as ovens, fryers, microwaves, and other food-service equipment that require electrical or low-voltage connections.
- Install and commission beverage dispensers and ensure proper electrical and low-voltage hookups.
- Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling for POS systems, security cameras, access control, networking, and communication systems.
- Install and commission lighting controls, occupancy sensors, and store-specific automation components.
- Interpret electrical drawings and low-voltage schematics to determine accurate routing, placement, and installation details.
- Perform system testing and verification of electrical and low-voltage systems prior to store turnover to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete construction and installation tasks.
- Work in a construction environment, coordinating with other trades as needed to complete store build-outs.
- Travel from home to various store construction sites across assigned regions and complete work according to project schedules.
- Background or experience in HVAC work.
- Background or experience in refrigeration systems.
- Background or experience in plumbing.
- Background or experience in carpentry.
- Experience working in industrial or commercial construction environments.
- Ability to work overtime hours when project schedules require it.
- Comfort working in new construction settings with other trades on site.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates primarily on first shift, with start times that can be as early as 6:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with some Fridays as needed. You typically work 45–50 hours per week in new construction environments for retail store build-outs. The role requires frequent travel from your home to store locations across Ohio and Michigan. Travel over approximately one hour may involve overnight stays, with hotel costs covered and per diem provided.
You work on active construction sites using power tools, hand tools, and electrical and low-voltage testing equipment, collaborating with other trades in a fast-paced, field-based setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
