Appliance Technician helper​/apprentice

Overview

You will work as a helper and apprentice, learning appliance repair while earning a salary. An online correspondence class is paid by the company, and pay increases at about 90 days and continues as you progress.

Work schedule is generally 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with occasional light Saturdays. No work on Sundays, holidays, or travel. Overtime is available if desired. Technicians are never on call. Flexible hours are possible.

• Assist with appliance repair and maintenance.
• Apply troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills on a daily basis.

• Participate in ongoing factory, online, and in‑house training.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn appliance repair to an expert level.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer literate; detail oriented with numbers and accuracy.
• Punctual, courteous, and well‑groomed.
• Must pass a background, drug, and driving screening.
• Previous mechanical, electrical, or maintenance experience preferred.
