Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Technician at Penske, you’ll do preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles to keep our customers’ vehicles in shape and on the road.

• Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance such as replacing or rotating tires, lubricating components, and addressing electrical and cooling system issues.
• Partnering with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching.
• Handling other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1‑2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Problem solving ability and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow safety, DOT, and OSHA policies.

• Movement of body including standing, walking, climbing, and reaching as required by job duties.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
• Capability to lift, move, or push weights up to 50 lbs (some tasks require up to 100 lbs).
• Operates at heights and in varied weather conditions.
