Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic performs primarily mechanical maintenance and repair work, with a smaller portion of electrical troubleshooting, on industrial production equipment in a heat‑treating facility. This role focuses on keeping ovens, industrial burners, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, valves, and bearings operating safely and efficiently. The Maintenance Mechanic reads and interprets prints and schematics, performs light welding, and communicates clearly with other shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and minimal downtime.

• Will be performing 80/20 Mechanical vs Electrical
• Candidates will be working on a lot of ovens, industrial burners inside the ovens, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatic, motors, sensors, valves, bearings in the facility
• This person will be doing mostly mechanical repair work on the equipment
• Candidates will be responsible for communicating with the next shift (there's a 30 minute lap‑over between shifts) about the work that was completed, and what needs to be completed.
• Electrically they will troubleshoot 480v and some lower voltages
• Light welding mig, stick on mild steel
• Repairing and/or replacing pumps, motors, gears, bearings.
• Reading prints and schematics

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Toledo,OH.
