Position: Fleet Maintenance Technician (NO CDL)

Pay

Target Pay of $31.40 / hour

Responsibilities
  • Work independently performing preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs
  • Utilize leading‑edge technology and programs (e.g., voice application PM, Noregon diagnostics, Mitchell 1, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS)
  • Diagnose vehicle failures and disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as necessary
  • Maintain documentation such as vehicle records and pre‑trip checklists
  • Answer service calls and support one of the largest fleets in North America
Qualifications
  • Own basic hand tools; diagnostic and high‑tech equipment will be provided
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, reach, climb, and manipulate tools and parts
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass the Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable)
  • Mechanical knowledge of gasoline and diesel repair
  • Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines
  • Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance procedures
Desired Experience
  • Repairing forklifts (propane, electrical, battery, hydraulic, pallet jack systems)
  • Working with computers (iPad, desktop, handheld, laptop) for diagnostics and preventive maintenance using voice application and work order systems (INFOR, Geotab)
  • Experience with manufacturing standards (Mitchell 1, OEM support tools, electronics)
  • Valid U.S. Class A or B CDL; driving trucks in and out of the repair shop
  • Repairing heavy‑ and light‑duty equipment (class 8, 7, 6, medium and light trucks, vans, support vehicles)
