Industrial Electrician

Location:

Toledo, OH Pay: $36.43/hour

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support the maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician looking for a stable, long-term union position with competitive pay and outstanding benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Install conduit, wiring, lighting, power circuits, and electrical control equipment
  • Install motors, drives, and production equipment using electrical prints and schematics
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including:
    • AC/DC motors
    • PLCs and control systems
    • Transformers
    • Robotics
    • Electrical instruments
    • Safety devices
    • Production equipment
  • Safely work with electrical systems up to 4,160 volts
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and blueprints
  • Diagnose electrical failures and minimize equipment downtime
  • Monitor plant utilities including compressors, boilers, and power systems
  • Support plant operations while following all electrical and safety procedures
  • Wear required Arc Flash PPE and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
  • State Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic
  • Experience with:
    • Allen-Bradley PLCs
    • Drives and motor controls
    • PAC systems
    • HMI interfaces
    • Servo technology
    • Power distribution
    • Relay controls
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
  • Industrial manufacturing facility with heat, noise, dust, and elevated work areas
  • Must be willing to work alternate shifts as needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, physical, Functional Capacity Exam, and respirator fit test
