Adoptive Placement Caseworker of Record Social Service/Direct Care
Lucas County Children Services (LCCS) is seeking an Adoptive Placement Caseworker of Record who will provide adoption support services to children and families for adoptive placements and a wide range of casework services to children and their families.
Candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field required, LSW preferred. (i.e. Psychology, Criminal Justice, Education, Sociology)
- Must be a Certified Adoption Assessor or have the ability to complete required Adoption Assessor Training within nine (9) months.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate support groups required.
- Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and reliable automobile required.
- Personal cell phone for work use required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend work required.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural situations required
Starting Pay: $26.66 per hour / 35 hours per week
