Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
- Support database development for application, reporting, and analytics requirements
- Analyze and improve query performance and database efficiency
- Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and business teams to translate requirements into database solutions
- Participate in data modeling, schema design, and database architecture discussions
- Support data integration, ETL processes, and data validation activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to standards and best practices
- Strong experience in SQL development (complex queries, joins, stored procedures)
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar)
- Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing strategies
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Knowledge of data integration and ETL concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
