Position Title:

** Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer##

* Job Description:

** The assistant women's soccer coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with the direction and organization of the Owens Community College women's soccer program.
*
* Essential Functions:

*** Maintains discipline and works to increase morale and cooperation within the collegiate sports program.
* Teaches sports techniques, playing rules, strategies and playing tactics.
* Supervises and conducts practices and contests safely, supervising locker rooms and buses.
* Assists the head coach in carrying out their responsibilities.
** Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
*** Knowledge of soccer rules and regulations.
* Demonstrative soccer skills.
* Oral and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with the players and other coaches.
* Ability to contribute to the overall positive student-athlete experience that includes practice sessions, games and travel.
*
* Minimum Requirements:

*** High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
** Preferred Requirements:
*** High school/club or equivalent coaching experience preferred.
* Collegiate coaching experience or collegiate playing experience preferred.
