Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Toledo, Ohio. Weekly pay of $1500 or more, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• $1500 or more per week
• Hourly: $31.64 per hour
• Hours:
  
  45+ per week
• Safety bonus: $250 every quarter
• Paid training
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Start time: 4:30 pm dispatch

• Deliver solo to 150 mile radius
• Route: local home daily
• Tractor: day cab auto
• Trailer: dry van 48', 53'
• Freight: no touch - autoparts

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test
• Pass background & motor vehicle check (last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical
  
  Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL & endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, and rules
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
