Local Class A CDL Intermodal Driver | Route

Job Description

We are currently seeking professional Class A CDL Drivers for a local intermodal position operating out of Toledo. This W2 position offers a consistent local freight, comprehensive benefits, and a schedule that guarantees you are home daily
.

Drivers will operate slip‑seat day cabs, servicing freight within a 300-mile radius of Toledo while managing standard local variables such as traffic and seasonal weather.

• Home Daily: Reliable local routes that get you back to your family every shift.
• No‑Touch Freight: Save your back—100% no‑touch intermodal freight.
• Equipment: Well‑maintained slip‑seat day cabs.

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,000-$1,100
• Standard rate per dispatched mile will be $0.61 CPM.
• Short haul pay: $40.00 plus miles on loads with 3-598 loaded miles.

• $20.00 per stop on designated stops (excluding shipper, final, tcall)
• Nighttime pays standard rate + $0.05 CPM on loaded miles only. Monday-Thursday  and Tuesday-Friday
• Weekend pays standard rate + $0.10 CPM on loaded miles only. Friday 1900 – Monday 0400
• All Short haul pay and empty miles remain the same regardless of day/time
• Weekly performance pay of $10/day worked will be paid out weekly when the following requirements are met:
  • Report on time and complete a full shift each scheduled workday.
  • Complete scanning of all BOL/POD documents into the system no later than 23:59 each Sunday.
  • Satisfactory safety score of 850 or higher must be met for that work week.

• Operating Radius: Local and regional intermodal operations within a 300-mile radius of Toledo
• Equipment: Slip‑seat day cabs. Drivers must be comfortable managing standard metropolitan traffic and variable weather conditions.
• Pick up from Toledo/ Columbus rail yards and deliver to customers. Pick up from customers and ingate into the rail yards.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Minimum 6 months of Class A tractor‑trailer driving experience within the last 12 months.
• Location: Must reside within 30 miles of Toledo, OH
