Summary The Truck Loader is the link between our production and delivery operation. The Truck loader creates the shipping routes, loads product, and routes trucks for delivery to customers.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate and execute the loading of SAPS and transfer trucks according to production schedules and shipping requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute truck routing schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Collaborate with internal teams to support truck routing and logistics
- Operate fork-lift and material moving equipment
- Load trucks as needed, including material handling, packing, wrapping, and routing of shipments.
- Utilize the ERP system effectively to ensure accurate routing, scheduling, and coordination of outbound truck shipments
- Operate a tractor trailer within the confines of the facility
- Perform general labor and support tasks including material movement, shop cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance

QualificationsPosition Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of 1 year of related experience
Prior experience operating forklifts, or must be able to be licensed to operate mobile equipment including fork-lift and 4D (required)
Must have a valid driver's license (CDL not required)
Prior truck routing experience (highly preferred)
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of arithmetic
Intermediate computer skills, including a working knowledge of ERP systems (Visual/Smart Views) and truck routing software
Physical Demands
Routinely required to stand and walk; use hands to handle and feel; reach with arms and hands; as well as climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Routinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and pulling
Routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
Specific vision requirements include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment.
Environmental Conditions
Routinely work in a noisy environment.
Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
Routinely exposed to moving and mechanical parts and potential exposure to electrical shock.
