Truck Driver CDL A

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Toledo, OH offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Base pay: $1100 or more per week.
• Hourly Pay: $27.50 per hour.
• Hours:
  
  40+ per week.
• Safety Bonus: $250 four times a year.
• Paid Training.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, no weekends.
• Start Time: 4:00 AM to Noon.

• Deliver into a 200 mile radius (solo to).
• Local home daily routes.
• Operate day cab automatic tractors with 53' dry van trailers.
• Freight:
  No Touch – Auto parts.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days.
• 80 hours PTO in first year (use or get paid).
• Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance.
• Drivers are the captain; safety decisions and job protection.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test.
• Pass background, motor vehicle, and drug/alcohol verification from previous employers (last 3 years).
• Pass DOT physical.
• Pass Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements.
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
